On Thursday 19th November 2026, the YCAA and Waterstones Yeovil present the annual Best Books of the Year Evening for 2026.
Join us for a lively evening with six well-known panellists each giving their view of some of the best award-shortlisted books of 2026.
Read the books before the event or listen to the debate to form your own opinion! Which will you choose as the best book of the year?
This is a light-hearted event for book lovers keen to share their thoughts and audience participation is encouraged, so if you’re baffled by the Booker or confused by the Costa, come along to meet fellow readers!
This is a popular event, so book early to avoid disappointment. Tickets are £3 and available from Waterstones in Yeovil. Books can be purchased on the night.
